Registered Climbers

Welcome to the Climb for Clean Air!

The links above will take you to lots of resources for the time ahead of you as you train and equip yourself to climb Mt Rainier. The first task is to begin your fundraising. We cannot encourage you too much to begin your fundraising right now. You are excited about the Climb, so use your excitement to take the first steps.

Here's what you need to know:

1. Fundraising. Start now. It's surprising how many people sign up for the Climb and then never take the first step on their fundraising. The Fundraising Pages have lots of good information on planning your fundraising efforts. But if you want to cut to the chase, go directly to How to Write a Good Appeal Letter and begin by writing your letter. It is everyone's first step, so there's no reason to wait. Start today. And stay tuned for an updated list of our 2007 incentive prizes you can receive for fundraising!

2. Staying in touch. Share fundraising ideas, work out carpools, schedule training hikes and just generally stay in touch with fellow Climbers via our Yahoo! group.

We'll send you an email invite to join the Climb For Clean Air discussion list after registering for the Climb. Please let us know if you have trouble using the Yahoo! group.

3. Your Personal Web Page. To help with your fundraising, you have the opportunity to create your own web page. Simply create a log in at www.cleanairadventures.org/climb-for-clean-air. Your fundraising total is displayed there, so anytime you want to know how you're doing, just go to your web page. You can send emails from here and direct potential donors.

4. Climb Calendar. We will keep important dates posted throughout the year on the Climb Calendar page. This won't take the place of the Training Schedule or meeting notices, but it will be one place to stay on top of when things are happening and where.
