For more than 26 years, the American Lung Association® of the Northwest has offered thousands of cyclists the quintessential Pacific Northwest experience!
Trek Tri-Island will bring together bike riders like yourself from around the country to experience the best of the San Juan Islands. Trek Tri-Island offers magnificent scenery, lots of fun, and professional support because you worked hard to raise funds which make a difference in the lives of children and adults.
Join us for our Kick-Off Celebration at Anacortes Middle School Friday September 18. Dinner will be provided between 6-8 pm. Friday night will be the final time to hand in the last of your fundraising efforts. This will be a great opportunity to meet and mingle with your fellow Trekkers!
As the sun rises the morning of the 19th, we will awake to a wonderful breakfast and catch the ferry to Orcas Island. We will spend the day riding the beautiful Orcas Island and stop for the night at Lakedale Resort. For those of you who prefer sleeping accommodations other than camping, Lakedale has many spacious cabins available for reservation.
Day two we will be riding the unique Lopez Island. At this point, riders have the choice of staying a second night at Lakedale with us and riding a third day on San Juan Island or heading home. For those of you who will be staying for the third day of riding, we will venture along majestic San Juan Island and finish up the ride with a fun-filled BBQ in Friday Harbor where you can celebrate Trek with food, drink and music.
From Friday Harbor you have the option of a ferry ride back to Anacortes and head home or stay in the islands for a few more days. Either way, you can start looking forward to Trek Tri-Island 2010!
What's Provided -We handle the details--you enjoy the ride. We provide ferry fares, overnight camping accommodations, a truck to carry your gear, breakfasts, dinners, rest stops, professional bike mechanics and fantastic, experienced support staff. You provide a sense of adventure and fun.
Ride at your own pace
Trek is unique this year because we will offer two levels of riding each day. The low mileage loops will appeal to families, children and the recreational rider. Our more advanced riders will have the option to ride further or challenge themselves by riding up Mt. Constitution on Orcas Island.
It's not a race... it's an adventure and the beginning of life-long friendships. Our events attract people of all ages, interests, and cycling abilities...and we have great resources for you!
Your contribution
A $100.00 registration fee guarantees your spot on Trek Tri-Island. You also will raise at least $500 in donations to fight lung disease.

Four riders create a team. For the best time on Trek, organize a team of friends or co-workers. We'll provide the ideas and materials, you provide the riders.
